You can search for “Bedford Public Library” in the app store for your device to find our library app or scan this QR code with your phone/tablet to download the BPLS app to your device. Linking your library card is easy:

• Tap “My Account”
• Type in your library card number and 4-digit PIN
• Click “Sign In”

Add additional accounts by clicking on “Linked Accounts” and repeating these steps.

The Beanstack app allows you to track you reading for yourself, and to participate in our year round, multiple ages reading programs. Track your reading and join BPLS reading challenges using Beanstack! Set up your account following these steps:

• Download and open the app
• Click the blue “Find your school or library” button
• Search for BPLS under libraries
• Sign up for a Beanstack account or enter your login information to link a previous one

If you’re participating in a BPLS reading program or challenge, click on “Challenges” and register for the current program.

Hoopla offers e-books, digital audiobooks, movies, TV shows, music, puzzles and games, binge passes, and more. Getting your Hoopla account set up only takes a few simple steps:

• Install and open the app (scan the QR code below)
• Click “Sign Up” at the bottom of the page
• Enter your email address twice Create a password (enter it twice)
• Select Bedford Public Library System (VA) and tap “Agree” Enter your library card number

You can borrow 3 instant items per month. These items are instantly available with no holds or waiting period! You can also borrow 5 flex items at a time. If a flex item isn’t available right away, you can put the book on hold or join the waitlist. You’ll be notified when the title is available!

• Download and open the Magzter Library app
• Click “Continue with Library Card”
• Enter your email address. You will receive a verification code
• Enter the code, then search for Bedford Public Library System
• Enter your library card number

Next time you use the app, you will be automatically logged in. Use the search bar and filters to find what you’d like to read.
