Interlibrary Loan

Are you a current Bedford Public Library System (“BPLS”) cardholder and you would like to borrow a book or other item that isn’t owned by Bedford Public Library System, Campbell County Public Library System, or Lynchburg Public Library? Submit an ILL request online, or complete an ILL request form obtained from any BPLS branch library, and we’ll reach out to participating libraries to request the item for you. This service does require patrons to pay postage costs one way.

If you are an individual outside of the BPLS service area who would like to obtain copies of materials from our archives or special collections,  here’s more information about these services.
