Beginning on May 18, we will offer Grab and Go service at the library. Patrons can place holds through our online catalog and we will bring them out to a designated area for pickup. We have strict protocols in place to protect the health of both our patrons and staff members. Please call the library before coming to pick up holds so that staff can explain how Grab and Go will be done.
Faxing and photocopying will be available under the same contactless methods as Grab and Go for books. Please call the library branch before coming out to find out the details of the process. Some branches may need to schedule your fax or photocopy job based on staffing levels – again please call first so we can make sure you get the service you need.
Notary services will be available by appointment only. Please call your branch for details and to schedule your session.
E-Resources: Patrons will continue to have access to over 600,000 downloadable books, audios, music, and videos. Also available through the website, access to online educational databases, and the online catalog to place holds on materials, with an active library account.
Hardcopy materials: Patrons must return materials in an outside book return to begin our quarantine and cleaning process. All returned library materials will be disinfected prior to being re-loaned. If you are unable to return materials at this time, no charges will be made to your account.
Public wifi: Library locations provide free wifi access from the parking lots, and grounds near the buildings.
Telephone assistance: Staff will still be available by phone for assistance in answering questions, including technology assistance with e-resources.
Website and social media: For the latest information on our limited services, please check our website or other social media outlet. Helpful links to the public will be provided.
All other services such as meeting room accommodations, faxing and passport acceptance facility services will be suspended during the closure.
Our Digital Library has an extensive collection of e-resources available. You’ll find links sorted by category, e-books, e-audiobooks, downloadable movies, music, magazines. We also have great learning resources for all ages with links to Khan Academy, Duolingo, Universal Class, and so much more. You’ll find some video tutorials further down the page for using these resources; we’ll add more as time allows.
