Crocheted mat made from plastic bags.Crochet For A Cause

Crocheters of all levels are invited to learn how to make plastic yarn (plarn) and how to make a plastic mat for a homeless person with a single chain stitch. Work on your own, or bring a parent, child, or friend and work together to benefit the environment and helps those in need. Enjoy the company of other crafty folks as well as coffee and a snack.
Note: We will have plastic grocery bags, but you will want to bring your own stash! If you have a size J or N crochet hook, bring it along. If not, we will provide one for you. You do not need to attend all three days. Registration required. Please call 540-586-8911 to save your spot.
For ages 12 and up.
