Bright Star Theatre presents African Folktales

From the desert lands of the Sahara to the plains of the Serengeti to Mount Kilimanjaro and beyond – join a variety of characters from a wide range of cultures in stories that celebrate the various folk tale traditions of the continent of Africa. African music helps to set the stage for these energetic stories. Our stories include Anansi, Pourquoi tales and many facts and figures about this incredible continent.

AARP Tax Prep @ Bedford Central Library

Tax time written on a daily calendar flip book.Volunteers from AARP will be providing FREE Tax Preparation assistance again this year.  They will be at the Bedford Central Library every Tuesday and Thursday from February 4th through April 14th.*  
No appointments necessary – 1st come 1st serve only.  Open to anyone. Doors open by 8:30 AM & close when they reach their daily capacity.
*AARP will not be here on March 3rd because of the Democratic Primary.

Confessions of a Colorholic @ Montvale Library

Photograph of a floral coloring sheet and the tips of several colored pencils.Confessions of a Colorholic is open to anyone who enjoys coloring for relaxation or creative expression!  Join us every Thursday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM at the Montvale Library.  The library provides coloring sheets as well as markers, coloring pencils and pens but you are welcome to bring your own.

COMING SOON TO A LIBRARY NEAR YOU!
Join us at the Moneta/SML Library for a monthly Saturday afternoon screening of a movie for adults and teens.  Join us this month for our screening of the film Harriet, starring Cynthia Erivo as the iconic American freedom fighter Harriet Tubman.  The film tells the story of her escape from slavery through the dangerous missions she led to liberate hundreds of slaves through the Underground Railroad.
Free movie snacks and drinks will be served.
