Confessions of a Colorholic @ Montvale Library

Photograph of a floral coloring sheet and the tips of several colored pencils.Confessions of a Colorholic is open to anyone who enjoys coloring for relaxation or creative expression!  Join us every Thursday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM at the Montvale Library.  The library provides coloring sheets as well as markers, coloring pencils and pens but you are welcome to bring your own.

Read Across America Day: The Wonderful World Of Eric Carle @ Stewartsville Library

 Join us today as we celebrate READ Across America Day by exploring the works of famous children’s author and illustrator Eric Carle.  In this program, we will be reading some of his books such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Very Quiet Cricket.  We will also play games and do themed activities.  Snacks will be served.
For ages 3 to 8.  Please see a librarian or call the library at 540-425-7008 to register for this event.

Presented by Dan Lovelace, a wildlife biologist with the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries
Special guest, Dan Lovelace, will share what he knows about black bears, including their biology and behavioral traits.

He’ll also give tips on how to avoid conflict if you come in contact with a black bear.
