COMING SOON TO A LIBRARY NEAR YOU!
Join us at the Moneta/SML Library for a monthly Saturday afternoon screening of a movie for adults and teens.  Join us this month for our screening of the film Harriet, starring Cynthia Erivo as the iconic American freedom fighter Harriet Tubman.  The film tells the story of her escape from slavery through the dangerous missions she led to liberate hundreds of slaves through the Underground Railroad.
Free movie snacks and drinks will be served.

Healthy Living Potluck Parties @ Moneta/SML Library

Are you on a journey to eat more vegetables and become healthier?  Let local nutrition and food preparation experts Susan and Bruce Cowdrick guide and support you on your journey.  Join a group of like-minded people for a potluck meal, support, and informational meetings the first Friday of the month at the Moneta/SML Library from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  Meetings are open to anyone on the path to healthier living, regardless of where you are in the journey.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a plant-based, oil-free, and dairy-free dish to share.  Plates, napkins, and silverware will be provided.  Perfect for individuals with food allergies, Alpha-gal, diabetes, and anyone wanting more information about nutrition and cooking.  These programs are part of the Eat Healthy Virginia! Plantpure movement.   Space is limited and registration is required.
