- Each building in the Bedford Public Library System offers an area for local groups and organizations to use for legal activities, regardless of the beliefs and affilitaions of their members.
- Organizations or groups wishing to use a meeting room must apply for permission and have a completed and approved application form on file in the library. Click here for the Bedford Central application and here for the Branch Library application.
- Permission to use the meeting rooms will be granted on a first-come basis; however, library related programs and events will be given priority.
- No one will be granted permission to schedule the rooms on an ongoing basis except as provided within the Meeting Room Policy.
- Since these facilities are provided as a service to the community for non-profit use, local groups, organizations or individuals may not schedule meeting rooms to provide fee based services except as provided within the Meeting Room Policy.
- BPLS staff does not provide setup or housekeeping services.
- Tables and chairs are provided in all meeting rooms. Upon request, the library will provide AV equipment such as televisions, LCD projectors, DVD players and/or VCRs but, it is the responsibility of the groups to arrange for setup and all other equipment needs.
- It is recommended that groups check 7 days before their scheduled meeting to make sure their requested library equipment is still available and in working order.
