Part-Time Library Assistant I – Big Island Library

The Bedford Public Library System is seeking a public service oriented individual to work in the Big Island Library.  The ability to work with groups of children and/or young adults and implement children’s programs is required.  Major duties include a full range of automated circulation desk procedures, assisting patrons with materials selection, responding to library policy questions, extensive use of library computer equipment and various Microsoft Office applications.  Part-time, 13 hours per week, including some evening and weekend hours. Library Page – Forest Library

Bedford Public Library System is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented person to perform clerical duties, primarily checking in and shelving books, 12 hours per week at the Forest Library. Afternoons and some Saturdays required. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and be able to bend and stoop. Basic computer skills are necessary. Starting pay is $ 7.62 per hour.
