The words HOME WORK written on a blackboard.
Students will practice how to find virtual information on the BPLS library website “Digital Library” for reports, research and projects. Come learn how to use free digital databases, take a tour of the library shelves, remote print to the library printers from personal devices, search the library catalog, place holds for books from other libraries, and learn hacks to find websites with reliable information.
An individual windows laptop will be provided for use during the program. Bring a valid email address, a BPLS library card and pin number. Feel free to bring an alternate device if you will primarily access the databases or library catalog with a tablet or smartphone rather than a windows laptop or computer. Call us at 540-425-7004 to reserve a space for this program. Limited to six participants ages 9+.
