COMING SOON TO A LIBRARY NEAR YOU!
Join us at the Bedford Central library for a monthly Saturday afternoon screening of a movie for adults and teens.  This month we will be showing Yesterday starring Himesh Patel, Lily James, and Sophia Di Martino.  The film tells the story of a struggling musician who realizes he’s the only person on Earth who can remember The Beatles after waking up in an alternate timeline where they never existed.
Free movie snacks and drinks will be served.

Come search for used books, DVDs and more!  Most items range in price from $.25 to a few dollars.

Coding books
A one-hour tutorial introducing students to the experience of the science of coding. Participants will then have a chance to use a student-guided program to learn coding basics. James Harper,  Computer and Networked Systems Technician for the Bedford Public Library System will be on hand to discuss how coding is used in computer science and other careers, and to lead the students through their activities. For ages 10-14.  Registration required please call us at 540-586-8911 ext. 2107.

A Bedford Area Master Gardeners Association Program
The Master Gardeners will teach us about the history and use of scented plants around the home, as well as how to select, gather and dry flowers and herbs from the garden. Participants will then be guided in mixing their own samples of potpourri and bath salts to take home for personal use or as a gift.

Join us at the Bedford Central library for a monthly Saturday afternoon screening of a movie for adults and teens.
Get into the Christmas spirit as we watch National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation starring Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Randy Quaid, Juliette Lewis, and a young Johnny Galecki aka Leonard Hofstadter for the Big Bang Theory Fans!  This is the third in the “National Lampoon” series about the Griswold family. In this sequel, the Griswolds must deal with a holiday with their in-laws.  The film turns 30 this year and is still considered by many to be a must watch during the holiday season.
