Family Pumpkin Carving Party @ Forest Library

Smiling Jack-O-Lantern leaning against a rock.Carve some time out of your weekend to join us for this family-friendly Halloween program as we transform plain pumpkins into “Spooktacular” decorations.  Pumpkins and tools will be provided; kids attending without an adult can decorate their pumpkins using markers.

refreshments will be served.
Space is limited and registration is required.

Join us for our annual pumpkin carving event sponsored by the Friends of the Big Island Library.
The Friends will be providing pumpkins for the first 20 children who sign up; please call us at 540-425-7000 to reserve your pumpkin.
Families are also welcome to purchase their own pumpkins and bring them to the program.

A Bedford Area Master Gardeners Association Program
The Master Gardeners will teach us about the history and use of scented plants around the home, as well as how to select, gather and dry flowers and herbs from the garden. Participants will then be guided in mixing their own samples of potpourri and bath salts to take home for personal use or as a gift.
