Living the Locavore Lifestyle by Bruce Ingram book cover.Local author and speaker Bruce Ingram will be coming to all libraries to discuss the Locavore Lifestyle.
The presentation will include information on: how to reduce your electric bill by using solar power and a wood stove; how raising chickens can save money and some tips on how to raise chickens; how to manage wildlife habitats to make more food for wildlife and people, using such techniques as TSI (timber stand improvement), cut and spray, hack and squirt, and hinge cutting; identifying and getting rid of invasive species; conservation easement; how to live off the land; how to integrate raising chickens and growing a garden; and how to gather wild food to eat.  

Copies of his books will be available for purchase and signing at the programs.
