Read For The Record® @ Bedford Central Library
Oct 25 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Book Cover for Maybe Something Beautiful by F. Isabel Campoy and Theresa Howell and illustrated by Rafael López.
Visit the Bedford Central Library this morning as we join the millions of children and adults who’ll be participating in this year’s Jumpstart Read For The Record® event!
Jumpstart is celebrating the 13th anniversary of it’s annual campaign that asks people to read the same book on the same day.  The purpose of this program is to bring attention to inequities in early childhood education and inspire adults to read with children.  This year’s book selection, Maybe Something Beautiful by F. Isabel Campoy and Theresa Howell is about art and it’s ability to change the way we see our world!
We will have a special guest here for this event – Bedford County’s Chief of Police, Todd Foreman (and possibly other officers), will be here to read to the children.
For details contact the Youth Services Dept. at 540-586-8911 ext. 2107.
