Today we will be welcoming special guest Caroline May, the head decorator at Kissed Cupcakes, who will be here to teach teens and tweens (ages 12+) how to make homemade buttercream frosting! She will also demonstrate several decorating techniques using piping bags. Following the lesson participants will have the opportunity to decorate their own cupcakes using the techniques they learned and compete in a mini “Cupcake Wars”.
The cupcakes will be judged by local food professionals and prizes will be awarded. Registration is required; please call the youth services department at 540-586-8911 ext. 2107 to sign up!
