Roanoke Children’s Theatre presents School House Rock Live! @ Montvale Library

A play based on the popular Saturday morning cartoon that taught kids history, grammar, math and more will be performed live at your library this summer by actors/actresses from the Roanoke Children’s Theatre.  Go on a journey with Tom, a brand new teacher, who is a bit nervous about starting his first day. While watching tv to relax, characters emerge to show him how to win his students over through song and quite a bit of imagination.

Based on the book by Scott Ferguson, George Keating & Kyle Hall

Healing Your Body Through Physical Therapy: Balance @ Stewartsville Library

Silhouette of a man with a walker.Jake Divers, DPT, and Neel Shah, PTA from CORA Physical Therapy in Hardy, VA will be presenting a monthly 4-part educational series on Physical Therapy. This month they will talk about balance and what causes balance problems as we age.  Participants will learn some simple exercises that can be done at home to help improve their balance.
