Healing Your Body Through Physical Therapy: Lower Back Pain @ Moneta/SML Library

Illustration of a man with back painJake Divers, DPT, and Neel Shah, PTA from CORA Physical Therapy in Hardy, VA will be presenting a monthly 4-part educational series where they will discuss pain in different parts of the body,  the anatomy of those areas, and how degeneration causes pain over time.  They will also talk about balance and what causes balance problems as we age.  Participants will learn some simple exercises that can be done at home to help alleviate pain.   This month’s program will focus on pain in the lower back.

In this month’s Saturday Matinee we will be screening episodes from the 90’s TV series Northern Exposure.
Northern Exposure tells the story of a newly graduated doctor who is required to set up his practice in an eccentric Alaskan town.

Free movie snacks and drinks will be served.
