Saturday Matinee: First Man @ Moneta/SML Library
Feb 23 @ 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm

DVD cover for First Man.
COMING SOON TO A LIBRARY NEAR YOU!
Join us at the Moneta/SML library for a monthly Saturday afternoon screening of a movie for adults and teens.
This month we will be showing First Man starring Claire Foy, Ryan Gosling, Pablo Schreiber, Christopher Abbott, Kyle Chandler, and Jason Clarke.

First Man is the riveting story behind the first manned mission to the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong and the decade leading to the historic Apollo 11 flight.  A visceral and intimate account told from Armstrong’s perspective, based on the book by James R. Hansen, the film explores the triumphs and the cost, on Armstrong, his family, his colleagues and the nation itself; of one of the most dangerous missions in history.
Free movie snacks and drinks will be served.

Have you heard of hydrogen transportation? Trust us—you will soon! With the rise of the hydrogen-powered fuel cell, one of the most prolific and readily-available elements of our universe is now able to power our vehicles. Even better is its sole emission: water. By the year 2030, this feat, once confined to science-fiction, will be a reality. How will this journey to more efficient automobiles unfold, and how can you invest in this zero-carbon future? Join us to find out.
Each week we will look at and discuss different aspects of this topic.
