LEGO® Club & Tales with Ty @ Bedford Central

Lego Bricks and Ty the Cocker Spaniel.

Come and join kids from 5 and up as we play with LEGOS®. Take on the challenge of the month or just use your imagination to build whatever you want with our LEGOS® or DUPLOS®. Until 4:30 PM, kids will also be able to spend some time reading with Ty, our Reading Assistance Dog. This is a great time for your child to practice reading skills and boost confidence while having fun with Ty the cocker spaniel.

Hepatitis C and HIV Screening @ Bedford Central Library
Dec 14 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Central Virginia Health District logo.Medical professionals from the Central Virginia Health Department will be at the library performing free HIV and Hepatitis C screenings. 
Hepatitis C can damage your liver function.  HIV affects your immune system and your ability to fight illnesses.
Early detection is key in the treatment for both – results from the initial screening takes only 20 minutes.

Family Movie Matinee: Incredibles 2 @ Bedford Central Library

Come to the Bedford Central Library on the 3rd Saturday of every month for a fun family afternoon of crafts, games, snacks and a movie.  This month the movie is Incredibles 2 (PG). The running time is 2 hour 5 minutes. We hope to see you there!

We’ll read holiday stories, sing songs, and make a festive craft.

Excel 101 @ Bedford Central Library

A cartoon version of a computer monitor with a spreadsheet on the screen - the picture is on a green background with the words Excel 101 above.Learn to use Microsoft Excel. This spreadsheet software is the go to for simple accounting, list making, charts and graphs, and so much more. This class is a beginner class that will introduce you to Excel, but you should be able to use the mouse.

Dinosaur Club @ Bedford Central Library
Dec 19 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Come to the Bedford Central Library on 3rd* Wednesday of every month and learn about dinosaurs in detail from a dinosaur expert.
Each child will receive detailed species fact sheets at each meeting.
Registration is required and limited.  For ages 5 to 8.
*We will meet on the 2nd Wednesday in November because of Thanksgiving.
