Confessions of a Colorholic @ Montvale Library

Photograph of a floral coloring sheet and the tips of several colored pencils.Confessions of a Colorholic is open to anyone who enjoys coloring for relaxation or creative expression!  Join us every Thursday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM at the Montvale Library.  The library provides coloring sheets as well as markers, coloring pencils and pens but you are welcome to bring your own.

Family Fun Night: Tournament of Games! 

We will have short games to play like Cornhole, Face the cookie, Pyramid of Cups, Divide M&M’s into colors with one hand, Ping Pong Ball Shake and two others.
The games will be timed and the first three winners will win a prize.  No registration is required.

Terri Johnson, a liaison nurse for Centra Hospice, will be back again this year to discuss the “Elephant in the Room” – health care decisions for ourselves and our loved ones including Advance Directives.
You will learn…
How to fill out an Advance Directive form.
How to bring up “the elephant” with your loved ones and conversation tips.
How to appoint a medical power of attorney.
How to clarify your own thoughts/wishes about your future health care to your loved ones.

She will also answer any questions you might have about the types of care available as a person ages including home health care, skilled nursing vs. long-term nursing care and general hospice care.
