Illustration of a pirate.Avast ye mateys!  We need all hands on deck at the Bedford Central Library today for our celebration of National Talk Like A Pirate Day!  We’ll have a pirate-themed story time, crafts, games, a pirate costume contest, and a Treasure Hunt!  For Pre-K to 4th Grade.

Where The Wild Books Are Book Club: Escape from Mr. Lemoncello‘s Library @ Stewartsville Library

Book cover Escape from Mr. Lemoncello‘s Library.Join us this evening for the inaugural meeting of the Where The Wild Books Are Book Club for kids ages 7-12!
This month we will be discussing Escape from Mr. Lemoncello‘s Library by Chris Grabenstein.  The book tells the story of a twelve-year-old boy named Kyle who gets to stay overnight in the new town library, designed by his hero (the famous game maker Luigi Lemoncello), with other students but finds that come morning he must work with his friends to solve puzzles in order to escape.
There will also be fun activities based on the book.  Copies of the book will be available for check out at the Stewartsville Library.  Registration is required; please call us at 540-425-7008 ext. 3 to sign up.     

The Where The Wild Books Are Book Club will meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month (unless the library is closed) at 5:00 PM.
