Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to help out in your community, and we welcome volunteers interested in helping us with some routine tasks in the library.

Click here to download the Volunteer Handbook. (The Volunteer Handbook is currently unavailable; once it is updated it will be linked here.) It covers what you can expect from the Library staff; what the Library staff will expect of you; general procedural requirements; and some frequently asked questions.

If after reviewing the information in the handbook you think you’ll be a good fit as a library volunteer, click here to download the Volunteer Application. After filling it out, turn it in at the library branch where you would like to help.

If there are volunteer opportunities available at the time your application is submitted, your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator. An interview will be required and all applications will be kept on file for six(6) months.
