Journey to Alaska
A Community Read Exhibition

March 1st through March 31st

Join us as we journey to Alaska in March at the MOarts Gallery.  More than a dozen artists will be showing their works of art of or inspired by Alaska.  Several different mediums will be represented, including photography, oils, and fabric.  The artists come from all over the area: Bedford, Floyd, Roanoke, and Lynchburg.  Several of the artists lived in Alaska before moving to the area.  Some of the artists simply visited the state before returning home.  All of the artworks offer unique perspectives of this rugged and intriguing state.
This exhibit is part of the Bedford Public Library System’s Community Read celebration featuring the book The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah.
