Kissing Balls: A Bedford Area Master Gardeners Association Program @ Your Library
Have you ever seen a Christmas kissing ball?
These decorated balls of fresh or artificial evergreens, holly and herbs are often hung over doorways during the holiday season.  Dating back to the Middle Ages these ornaments are now used not only at Christmas but also for other special occasions and holidays.  This November members of the Bedford Area Master Gardeners Association will be visiting our libraries to show you how you can make your very own Kissing Ball from artificial greenery that can be displayed year round.  An ideal project for those of us born without a green thumb!
