We can all agree that kindness rocks, but have you ever thought to take that literally?
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably either heard of or seen painted rocks left for people to find.  These random acts of kindness are meant to brighten someone’s day with a small piece of art.  These miniature masterpieces are fun to create and share.  The Bedford Public Library System would like to help you make your own rocking artwork.  Join us in September and October as we paint rocks to look like miniature galaxies.  These paint parties are for ages thirteen and up, and no artistic experience is necessary.  We will lead you through the process of creating your own work of art.  You can then keep your rock or take part in this modern-day treasure hunt and hide it somewhere in the community.

The Kindness Rocks Paint Parties are free of charge, but space is limited and registration is required.
Registration starts August 7th; contact your library for more information or to sign up.
