An Introduction To Suminagashi – The Japanese Art Of Paper Marbeling @ Your Library

Suminagashi, which literally means “ink floating,” is an ancient Japanese art form that dates back as early as the 12th century.  The technique uses ink and water to “marbleize” plain white paper – turning it into something unique and colorful. 

Come learn the basics of this craft and take home your own creations.
